When your customers visit your store and interact with a StreamCart widget, our embed script collects data without placing persistent cookies on your customers' browsers. This is a deliberate design choice to protect your customers' privacy and to ensure our embed has zero impact on your store's compliance posture.

Essential cookies are strictly necessary for the StreamCart dashboard to function. They include session tokens that keep you logged in, CSRF protection tokens, and cookies that remember your in-progress configuration. Without these cookies, the dashboard cannot function correctly. These cookies cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies help us understand how users interact with our marketing website and dashboard. We use anonymized analytics data to measure page performance, identify usability issues, and improve the product. Analytics cookies are set only on the StreamCart marketing website and dashboard — never on your store visitors' browsers via the embed script.

Functional cookies enhance your experience by remembering your preferences, such as your selected plan comparison view, your dashboard theme preference, and your most recently viewed campaigns. Our embed script, which runs on your customers' browsers, is designed to be cookie-free. It uses a short-lived, anonymous session identifier stored in memory — not in a cookie — to associate interactions within a single session for analytics purposes. This identifier expires when the browser tab is closed and is never written to persistent storage.

You can control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Instructions for managing cookies in popular browsers are available at the support pages for Chrome, Firefox, Safari, and Edge. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from logging into the StreamCart dashboard.

You may also use browser extensions or privacy-focused browser modes to limit cookie collection. If you delete cookies after each session, you will need to log in to the dashboard each time you visit. Your preferences and settings may also be reset.
