We collect information you provide directly to us when you create an account, subscribe to a plan, or contact our support team. This includes your name, email address, billing information, and any communications you send us. We also collect information about your store and the video widgets you configure within the platform.

We automatically collect certain technical information when you use our services, including your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, device identifiers, and pages visited. When you embed StreamCart widgets on your store, we collect anonymized analytics data about video views, interactions, and conversion events to power your dashboard reporting.

We may receive information about you from third-party platforms when you connect your store (for example, Shopify or WooCommerce). This information is limited to what is necessary to provide our service and is governed by the applicable third-party platform's terms.

We use the information we collect to provide, maintain, and improve our services. This includes processing transactions, sending transactional and product-related emails, responding to support requests, and personalizing your dashboard experience. We also use data to detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents.

We may use aggregated, de-identified data to analyze usage patterns, improve our features, and develop new capabilities. This data cannot reasonably be used to identify any individual and is not considered personal information for the purposes of this policy.

We will never sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models or to serve advertising to your customers on your behalf.

We share personal information only in limited circumstances: with trusted service providers who assist us in operating our platform (such as cloud infrastructure, payment processors, and email delivery services), and only under strict data processing agreements that prohibit them from using the data for any other purpose.

We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or governmental authority, or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of StreamCart, our users, or the public.

If StreamCart is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email or a prominent notice on our website before such a transfer and before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies on our marketing website and dashboard to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and analyze traffic. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser; persistent cookies remain for a set period unless deleted by you.

Our embed script, which runs on your customers' browsers, is designed to use no persistent cookies on visitor browsers. Any data collected by the embed script is associated with anonymous session identifiers and is used solely to power your analytics dashboard. Please see our Cookie Policy for full details.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of the StreamCart dashboard but will not affect your customers' ability to view videos on your store.

Depending on your location, you may have rights under applicable data protection law, including the right to access, correct, delete, or export the personal information we hold about you. If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights as described in our GDPR Compliance page. We will respond to all verifiable requests within the timeframes required by applicable law.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us directly. Please note that even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send you transactional messages related to your account.

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide our services and fulfill the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law. Account information is retained for the duration of your subscription and for a reasonable period thereafter to support account reactivation, legal obligations, and dispute resolution.

Analytics data collected from your embedded widgets is retained for 24 months by default. You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time by contacting privacy@streamcart.it. Upon deletion, we will remove your personal information from our active systems within 30 days, subject to any legal holds.

Backups and archived data may persist for up to 90 days after deletion from active systems as part of our disaster recovery processes.
