BigCommerce Integration

Use BigCommerce Script Manager to deploy StreamCart across your entire storefront, with full product sync via the BigCommerce REST API.

Installation Guide

Connect StreamCart to BigCommerce

Open Script Manager

In your BigCommerce control panel, navigate to Storefront → Script Manager → Create a Script.

Configure the script settings

Set the Name to "StreamCart", Location to Head, and Pages to All Pages. Set the Script Category to Essential.

Paste the embed script

In the Script Content field, paste the StreamCart embed script with your Project ID. Click Save.

Configure the API key for product sync

Go to your BigCommerce control panel → Advanced Settings → API Accounts → Create API Account. Copy the credentials and paste them into the StreamCart dashboard under Settings → Integrations → BigCommerce.

Create and publish widgets

Once product sync is complete, create widgets in the StreamCart dashboard, link your videos to BigCommerce products, and publish.

Paste into Script Manager

Replace YOUR_PROJECT_ID with the ID from Settings → Project in your StreamCart dashboard.

Troubleshooting

Common issues and fixes

Script Manager is not available in my control panel

Script Manager requires a BigCommerce Essentials Plus plan or higher. Check your current plan under Account Settings → Plans & Pricing.

API sync is returning a 403 error

Ensure the BigCommerce API key has the Products (read-only) scope enabled. Edit the API Account in Advanced Settings → API Accounts and add the missing scope.

Widgets load on some storefronts but not others (multi-storefront setup)

Script Manager scripts are per-channel. You may need to add the embed script to each storefront channel separately in Storefront → Script Manager for the relevant channel.
